Reasons Why Using The Internet In Your Network Marketing Business Is Sensible

It is a sad fact, but true that so many network marketers struggle with their business and the majority are stuck at the bottom of the comp plan ranks. This really should change right?

I was a struggling distributor for around 4 years before I really got my business to take off. All that bugging of friends, family and anyone within a 3 foot radius was pretty hard going and quite frankly made me pretty unpopular! There had to be a better way I kept thinking to myself.

I actually started doing a fair bit of investigating on internet network marketing for ways in which I could develop my business. I had heard of several other network marketers that were successfully building some very impressive incomes online. Somehow they were creating leads every day, plus selling products. I decided it was time for me to give it a try myself, so got right on to it. I already had some knowledge about building websites so I actually put together 2 basic sites, one that was for people seeking a business opportunity and the other was actually a very basic retail site selling the main product (which was a healthy super juice). I also told my upline about it, who actually got very excited about it. The internet was a new phenomenon to them, they saw dollar signs for sure.

I had a little knowledge about making a website but at this stage I didn’t really have any clue about tribe marketing or driving traffic to it. The bottom line is that in around 10-12 months I sold about $2,500 worth of product, generated about 500 leads and recruited 5 people. Now this isn’t exactly earth shattering results, but it proved it does work.

So why do I explain my story to you? Hopefully it will give you some hope if you are struggling in your network marketing business using the more traditional ways, it proves that there is a better way.

Now that I have actually learnt internet marketing, my business has completely transformed and I now get over 20 leads each and every day, earn affiliate income from 18 different streams and recruit into my main business each week.

In what way is it beneficial for us to build our business online?

Leverage. This is important, as you don’t want to be tied to your business, you want your business to work for you! There is a vast world of opportunity online that should not be ignored.

With a little time and effort, even someone who is new to the industry can soon set themselves up and be generating leads, commissions and signups. Of course you will still need to network with people and connect with them, but you can use systems to do a lot of the leg work for you

It doesn’t really matter if you are new to online marketing or not, using simple strategies and methods you can be receiving 10-20 leads each day into your sales funnel, recruiting and earning in a short space of time. Plus of course some of them are going to join your business.

Given that your network marketing company offers fantastic products and a lucrative comp plan it seems to me a great shock that so often folks who come into this trade fail to earn much money and set themselves up with a solid financial future. The potential that this business model offers is quite awesome when you consider the influence of constructing a downline and having hundreds of people beneath you all motivated to create wealth for themselves, in theory you should almost be able to take a back seat and watch the profits roll in.

I’ve spoken to many networkers over the last few weeks, some have made money and others have not made a dime, I think that the main reasons people are not making the grade is due to inadequate training and support. It’s unfortunate that most Empower Network companies and sponsors simply don’t provide the required training in order for new recruits to get money into their pockets quickly. Retention rates in this industry are around a shocking 15%! Lots of newbies say that they don’t recieve the guidance they need from their uplines and it goes without saying that the traditional methods of recruitment do not work as well as they used to.

Learn Attraction Marketing

An essential principle to learn is that of attraction marketing, I learnt from the great guru himself Mike Dillard and since practising his methods and way of thinking about things my business has been very different and I noticed a general improvement in my life all round! I’d highly recommend you check out his material. If you are branding yourself correctly you will magnetize the proper people to you and begin to create trust and understanding with them and done correctly prospects are going to become interested in you and your primary business.

If you want to practise attraction marketing then the internet is the ideal place to do this. Take heed though, don’t become an annoying spammer by posting links everywhere claiming ‘Best Opportunity ever, make $$$ overnight, The best company since sliced bread’ etc…you know the kind of things im talking about, just take a look in your email spam box. Folks buy from those they know and trust and have a relationship with, therefore you are much better off marketing yourself and what you can give to your prospects in the way of knowledge, training and products. Always give true value!

Always remember to captivate the attention of your prospects you must offer them sincere value, do more than what others are doing and stick out from the marketing noise and be someone who is respected and sought after. You must have systems in place that will get the job of networking with prospects on auto-pilot, things such as autoresponders and video marketing, emails you enter only once and then can be sent to hundreds of new prospects without you doing anything, videos you create once and can be viewed by by new people time and time again.

It pays to make sure your team is aware of these strategies so they can maximise their results and in turn benefit you. Attraction marketing is the way to go, not spam marketing. If you are involved in MLM then you probably already know you will only earn an income from two activities, selling and recruiting.

Contrary to what many people believe, it’s important to remember that it’s not all about your company and products. When people come on board they are most likely joining to have the opportunity to work with YOU. So you need to know how to market yourself as an authority in the industry.

I’ve outlined some tips that may help you in your MLM recruiting…

Don’t cosset and pamper your team members -

This is VERY important. When I first got started in this industry I was keen(as we all are_) for my team to do well, but that should not mean being at their every beck and call. I quickly found myself becoming tied up with technical and silly questions. Yes I want to be there for my team and help them, but equally I needed to free up my time to continue to grow my business. I was taught by a great mentor in the industry to do things in group sessions, group training and answering of questions wins the game. This is 1000% more time effective for me plus the feedback from team members tells me that it works wonders! It is very important that you adopt this strategy into your mlm business also. Do trainings in groups!

Outsource as much as possible -

Sometimes it can be hard to let go and delegate. A problem that I still have myself, I like to do as much of my marketing & content creation myself, as I know that it will be of a high standard. But on the other hand I don’t want to be spending time doing the ‘dirty work’ which someone else could do. In some countries people will work for as little as $2.50 an hour doing your work for you, plus you are actually doing them a favour by hiring them! So cut straight to the point and outsource as soon as you start making money, or if you have money to play with, outsource from day 1! This will free you up to concentrate on that all important sponsoring.

Be willing to learn -

It does not matter who they are, but everyone who has been successful in the mlm industry has had a teacher who is more knowledgeable than them. Continual learning is so important to your business and no one will ever know it all. It’s a no brainer, if you want to be the top of this industry, you MUST seek out the appropriate training and coaching.

Bring in unlimited leads

We all know how important free mlm leads are to the success of our business. For many Network Markers this is the largest problem they face, a shortage of leads. You have probably been taught to make up a list of 100 people in your ‘warm’ market, or maybe to go out and ‘prospect’ to people that you have never even met before. These methods can and do work, but let’s face it, there must be a better way surely. Would’nt it be much better if people came to you rather than the other way around? You should learn the principles of ‘Attraction Marketing’ and more importantly use a system that will generate leads for you on auto-pilot AND sponsor them into your business.

You should always follow the same protocol and make sure that you are not spamming, but rather offering value. If you have your own blog then Twitter is a great place to tweet your blog post, the more people you have following you, the more fast traffic you can generate.
