This scheme can in fact be eligible for a scam, if you actually give it an in depth examination. What happens is, you get a call one day from a business agent saying it’s the business’s anniversary and as a way of paying back to their consumers, you have been by chance chosen to claim a prize that is completely free of charge. You’re assured that no cash-out is required on your part, and all you should do is to proceed to the claiming area and present the winning code which you’ll be provided.

When you get there to receive your prize, their additional products will be marketed to you before they release whatever reward you receive for the winning code. To develop suspense, you are told that you would be able to “take home” any of the digital gadgets you see-a chair massager, a flatware set, an induction cooker-all worth a couple hundred dollars. So you think.

Later on, the individual verifying your winning code comes back to you, with smiles from ear to ear, telling you you have in fact been chosen as among the 3 fortunate winners of a special opportunity promo, which means, rather than simply winning one product, you have the second privilege to take home each of the products marketed to you that day, following specific conditions.

Aha-one precondition being, if you buy one of many products you get the other 3 or 4 items totally for free. Not surprisingly, the article to be bought is amounting thousands of dollars.

The amusing thing about it is that when in the display area, the sales guys seem to transform into skilled actors – you recognize afterward – that all this was staged – their excitement, the person calling on the cellular to check that you do not have any next of kin amongst the sales personnel, the presentation of the prizes you could have “won” as a second opportunity, and so on. If you aren’t keen about it – you can wind up as impetuous customer – and be persuaded by the drama of shopping for only one article and bringing home five, even when you never had a necessity for just about any of these items in the first place.

With all these direct selling dramas, internet shopping gives more freedom of choice and control over your individual shopping adventure.
