Winning In The Cash Flow Business” Review…

March 27, 2010 by: Diane Augustine

I’d like to be able to tell you my review of Russ Dalbey’s “Winning in the Cash Flow Business” came from interviewing other people who had experiences with the program. Alas, I too saw his infomercial in the middle of the night, was unable to sleep, and, being temporarily jobless, thought “Cool! This sounds like a real opportunity! Russ is going to teach me the note business and I am going to learn to be successful just like all the people in his infomercial!” I truly regret not having gone back to bed instead of what I did next.

This was one of the worst business mistakes I have ever made! When I called to order, suddenly the cost of the program was more then double what the infomercial said (apparently that was just the first payment) and I’d get a discount only if I paid in full up front- it was actually over 100$ including shipping! When I balked I was told pay up front and save a whole payment-it ended up costing me 80+ odd dollars. I have heard people paying anywhere from just the first 39.95 payment- all the way up to 300+ for the initial investment. What you get are 3 thin booklets, and a couple CDs and a couple extra “free fluff” reports that don’t even begin to cover the business well enough for you to be successful. That is because the real money they make is trying to “help” you make sense of their confusing, incomplete material.

Apparently, there is no END to the amount of money you can waste on this business. I got constant emails and calls (sometimes 8-10 calls A DAY to my cell phone!) asking me to participate in this or that offer to help me succeed…but I thought “isn’t that what I had already spent money on?!?” These “helpful offers” ranged from hundreds of dollars to THOUSANDS of dollars. After hours and hours and days and days of wasting my time trying to find notes WITHOUT spending thousands on advertising and additional “helpful programs” from Russ I came to the realization I had been taken by one of those too good to be true “get rich quick” scams. The most lucrative offer I got was to BUY a website from him to promote HIS cash flow business and he offered to pay 90$ per referral. Here is an actual quote from his email he sent me about that: “All I ask in return is that you tell your friends, family, neighbors-everyone you know, who you think can benefit from making extra money-to visit my Winning in the Cash Flow Business website.”

Wow. As if I would do that to my family and friends and neighbors! Try to get them to buy this awful program just to get 90$ from Russ. MY reputation, especially among those I care about, is worth more then that. The only person getting rich from this is Russ Dalbey. Please investigate this program if you are STILL interested- there’s no end to the angry, hurt and disappointed comments from people who bought this course.

After reading articles from independent note brokers, it seems in many states you need a license to do what Russ says anyone, anywhere can just do. There isn’t much useful info on marketing your service either. The “free” suggestions include cold calling real estate agents, and searching through records in county courthouses. Neither got me note deals, but I did waste time… If you ask for help from Russ, better open your wallet and dig deep. I’ve seen reviews by people who spent massive amounts on special limited trainings, all of them seemed very let down by the money they spent for the little training they received. None of them said “When I left that 3,000 dollar special training, I had a bunch of money and the skills I needed to make millions!”

Unfortunately, it is programs like “Winning in the Cash Flow Business” that give businesses you can work from home, a bad name. They are not all like that. Some WILL provide mentor-ship as part of the program, without costing you thousands of dollars extra, and they provide you upfront, with enough training to get you off the ground.

There ARE programs that want you to succeed because the whole program succeeds along with you, and because the people involved have integrity, not because they want to suck YOUR wallet dry.

Russ Dalbey’s program is not one of them.
