A very large majority of people that enter the world of Internet Marketing fail; I will share with you the main reason behind this and how you can avoid failure by building a list you can sell to.
People tend to fail because they are new to Internet Marketing and have only learnt the Internet Marketing basic techniques, not how to present themselves and how to sell. This leads to them using in your face tactics which put people off from buying from them as they come across as a spammer.
If all you do is bang on at people about why your product is the best thing since sliced bread and come over as desperate people will NOT buy from you…FACT. Now why is this, well it is because you look completely unprofessional for starters and most importantly if your product/home business opportunity was so good then you wouldn’t have to shout about it from the rooftops to generate leads…surely the product would do that itself!
So you’re probably now wandering how do you go from desperate Dan….to having prospects call you up wanting to join your business or buy your product…well here you go:
Firstly ditch the idea of chasing people because you need their money, even if you do need money because you’re broke do not let it show!
This is done by branding yourself as a leader within your market by giving valuable information relating to your market, this comes in the form of articles, blog posts, videos etc. You do not have to of been involved with your market for years to have valuable knowledge that can help somebody who has no experience.
By teaching people about your market you gain status amongst the people who are interested in also joining your market (prospects). If you do a video on Social Networking Tips anyone who is interested in Internet Marketing that sees your video will look up to you as you’ve done a video so must know your stuff.
By branding yourself you will have prospects wanting to know more about you and your product/business opportunity before they even know what it is and without you having to use SELL, SELL, SELL tactics. You might not think that is true but I can tell you from my own experiences it is! I myself called my mentor up after seeing a couple of his videos and reading his bio page that gave a great insight into internet marketing.
It’s human nature for everyone that’s seeking help (prospects) to turn to a leader (you) that can provide them with advice and direction. The main reason I have such experience in this Industry is because my mentor was a highly successful Internet Marketer that shared his knowledge with me.
Give people valuable information, deliver it with confidence, give yourself value and people will really want to hear more from you! They will join your list and this is how you become a success online, this is tip that so many supposed mentors do not share! I hope now knowing this that you action it and become a leader!
