I met Tom at a Dani Johnson convention a couple of years back, and I can say from personal experience that I’ve never met a better phone sponsor (sorry Mike Dillard).There are still, however, some positives and negatives to Tom’s teachings.
Who is Tom Challan?
Tom Challan is an extraordinary MLM recruiting coach who works in close conjunction with Dani Johnson. Part time, Tom Challan as surpassed almost all of the MLM gurus – sponsoring 500 people in one year (from cold leads, mind you). He owns and operates a lead and contact management company called Earn Pro Leads, as well as offering free weekly trainings called OJT (On the Job Training) in which you can listen to him dial prospects live.
What are Tom Challan’s teachings?
Tom Challan has 3 main focuses in his training, they are prospecting, closing, and outsourcing. Tom used to work with Dani Johnson with his prospecting and closing classes – charging 7 for each four week class. The training classes that Tom Challan teaches are made up entirely of live prospecting classes, followed by instructions on how to close. Now Dani is also offering the recruiting classes again, while Tom is more focused on personal coaching and OJT calls.
His simple, yet powerful prospecting methods use questions, listening, and intuition to connect with the prospects CORE beliefs before presenting your business. Tom’s unique conversational sponsoring approach adapts his questions according to the needs of the prospect.
Tom’s method is unique in the world of MLM. Tom actually outsources almost all of his training to Dani – and ALL he does is prospect and close over the phone.
It’s amazing the results that Tom had from his unique system: growing an organization to 20,000 in one year entirely from cold leads.
Is Tom Challan the real deal?
When I was attending Dani Johnson events – I had several personal interactions with Tom Challan. Not only is Tom a remarkable, caring, charismatic leader, EVERY person I have ever met who has studied Tom Challan’s unique approach and applied it for more than six months has created massive success in their Home Business while still maintaining time freedom.
Tom Challan is entirely unique, refreshing, and is a real leader in the MLM training universe.
There is one thing that would be greatly beneficial if you decide to use Tom Challan’s method:
Tom recommends doing a majority of your recruiting from purchased leads. While this is certainly effective, (as Tom Challan has proven), it can be frustrating and expensive, (if you’ve just called 1000 leads over a couple of weeks (or… months) and still haven’t recruited anyone.) Sponsoring anyone from generic leads is one of the hardest things you’ll ever do.
If you are going to learn Tom Challan’s recruiting techniques, be sure to also learn how to create your own leads.
Generating your own leads like that are less expensive than generic leads, and they have higher closing ratios too.
