Hello everyone. My name is Neil Walker. Years ago, I used to run a dial-up bulletin board and a mail system attached to Fidonet. Anyone remember those? 
Anyway, I’ve now moved into the 21st century and this is my first attempt at a blog.
I’m also trying to earn some money on the ‘net as I recently lost my job. One of the things I will be telling you about over the next few months will be my experiences with that. Your advice/comments would also be welcome.

There are 2 types of online business, online business opportunities and your own bussiness selling your own product.
Now, which one is more appealing to you?
Online business opportunities are very easy to start. They are affiliate program, MLM, reseller, etc. Some require cash upfront to start but most of them are free to join. Your only cost are advertising and marketing.
Own business selling your own product requires you to do research like finding your niche, develop or create a product for that niche, setting up your website and finally advertising and marketing.
At the end of the day, each business types requires YOU to make them to earn money for you. Making your first dollar is always a catalyst to earning you first ten dollar and so on.
